I don't know if anyone had to do the walk of shame. I was there on the 13 Th last Wednesday. Apon entering the MF line the ride checker in the front will ask people to try out the test seat and if you can at least get the two ends of the belt to touch she will let you ride.
I got by her alright, but when I got on the yellow train I was not able to ride and I didn't get any help from the ride op.
I had to do the walk of shame. I wasn't defeated I snuck back in line through the first seat line and I got on the blue train in the back. With a little help from the ride op I was able to ride.
When I worked at the Point and lived there, the "walk of shame" had a whole different meaning.

Unfortunately I have had to do that a couple of times off of Wicked Twister. I don't understand why it has to be so small at CP. I have had zero problems with any other rides at other parks around the country.
GO IRISH!!
Yeah there can be some difference between the test seat and the actual belt lengths on the trains. Not giving up paid off and you got to ride. :)
I would encourage you to do all you can to avoid this situation in the future. Let one close call be your last!

I don't remember which train but last October I had to take the MF walk of shame. Sucked having waited as long as we did. Didn't bother getting back in line to roll the dice in hopes of a different size belt on another train/seat.
Kind of annoying that they are not all uniform in length! But I think this dead horse has been beaten plenty in the past. Nothing ever changes.
Besides, they have more important things to fix first. Magnum is still sinking! =)

I would imagine it had the same meaning that people who frequent Put-In-Bay know it as.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I think there is more crawling than walking at Put in Bay.
