It always seems to move much faster once in the que house. I was once a part of a huge wave, which you can watch Here. I think just the amount of people there kinda helps the wait go faster.

The wave and beach balls showed up in the queue house at least once a week.
It was always fun to watch from crowd.

I only waited maybe an hour at the most when I went on it. One thing that irritated me the first time that I rode it was the fact that the lady was assigning seats. The next time that I rode it some other guy was there, and he was letting people choose where they sit, so I got the front!

You were always able to choose the front, but the rest of the rows are assigned. It allows the crew to be certain that every seat gets full. With the trains being so small, empty seats have a big affect on capacity.
