VOTE, we cant get beat by a lame seaside attraction.
I'm more than sure Harry Potter will take this. I've been on two of the nominated attractions. Shoot the Rapids is what it is, and SkyJump in Vegas was the biggest waste of $100 ever. I would have been better off going into the Stratosphere casino and putting that money on the number 7 at the roullette table. There would have been more thrill involved that way.

This poll, like many of these online polls lately, seems to be heavily influenced by which park's Facebook/Twitter fans are the most aggressive in voting. This would likely explain the substantial lead of the relatively unknown Morey's Piers attraction over Forbidden Journey.
"Thank the Phoenicians!"
Once they changed the seating arrangement on the boats: from empty in the back and empty in the middle. The splash/wave of water spilling over the sides became much more noticeable and resulted in getting wetter.

There are a lot of new attractions missing from that list, like kennywoods new coaster, world of color, intimidator(s), for example.
Not sure how shoot the rapids madethe list, but intimidator(s) did not?
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Comparing Forbidden Journey to Shoot the Rapids is like comparing the Hope Diamond to the candy rings you can get for a quarter at the front of the grocery store.

But isn't that the point of a flume though, to not really get you wet?
I always figured the point of any ride in the water was to get you wet at some point during the ride. Any ride that involves any number of drop hills that end in a pool full of water should get you wet. Any ride where they sell ponchos at the entrance and has a family dryer building after you get off should get you wet.
One of the few Mean Streak lovers left in the world.
During the first half of the summer before the changed the seating arrangement, along as you didn't sit in the front you came off with a minimal/minor wetness. After they switch the seating to have the seats in the back open it seemed the splash got larger with more of a wave effect coming right into the boat.
I assume the boats will be fixed this year so all the seats can be filled without becoming an anchor the wetness factor will probably change.

The first time I rode STR only the people in the front row got wet at the bottom of the hills. I sat in the middle and just for a few little splashes. The second time I rode I convinced my friends to ride with the selling point that they wouldn't get wet if they didn't sit in the front. I sure looked like a fool when we all got off the boat completely soaked.
