volcanoe themed coaster

I was watching a show on the travel channel yesterday and it showed a ride that was themed to a volcoanoe and it blasts you out of it like lava. The coaster was painted yellow. It looked pretty cool and it didn't look like it had any big dropsand i can't ride coasters with drops so I think i wanna ride it. But i forgot what park it's at. So...if anyone knows could you tell me? does it have any big drops?

Volcano, The Blast Coaster - Paramount's Kings Dominion - http://www.rcdb.com/installationdetail474.htm
Volcano is way too short on thrills and ride time. I assume that when it was brand new, the ride was pretty exciting. By today's standards, it is not that thrilling of a ride.

The idea is somewhat cool, but the ride left me disappointed.

Why don't you like BIG drops?

I have ridden the ride but it was not that thrilling I was very dissappointed after I waited two hours but it also was not that bad of a ride. No it did not have no real big drops and it is located at Paramounts Kings Dominion in Virginia.

Heres the Rundown On this coaster, even though it has Nothing to do with Cedar Point.

about 10 sec after you SLOWLY come out of the staton, the lims BLAST you and you go through the inside of the volcano. Already going very fast you get propelled even more staight out of the volcano. Then you swirl around t. There are no big drops, just big suprizes. Great Coaster!

There is an 80 foot drop at the end of the ride. I liked Volcano(no e please) The Blast Coaster much more than I thought I would have. It was much more fun than Hypersonic XLC located at the same park.

Just because it's not thrilling for you to ride does not mean that everyone will fill the same way. It is one of my favorite coasters to ride! I can not think of anything that I did not like about the coaster!

Did you talk to a doctor?
No.

Why?

Maybe there's more important stuff in her life than wondering why she can't ride on roller coasters. I know the only time I go to the doctor is for a sports physical, and besides that I never talk to a doc. Lazy I guess;)!

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

I hate getting sports physicals!;)

Are you kidding me? There aren’t that many rides that I can think of that are more exciting than blasting out the top of a volcano at 70 mph (on an inverted train no less). I would love to know what you think "today's standards" would be for a thrilling ride.

I agree it could be longer, but it still delivers a great ride.

Of course, I knew that! Sorry, for some reason when I read your name I thought Brenna. Forgot the 'n' I guess. As for the volcano themed coaster, I think it looks kinda cool. It would be even cooler if you could actually go into the volcano and see lava under you and cliffs and stuff. What I'm saying is I'd like to see it more themed. It's got a great theme, I'd just like to see more. Selfish I guess.

I think Volcanoe is an excellent coaster. It is rather short, but come on, its built in and on the side of a man-made mountain! How many other parks have rides like that? not many! The only down side is its capacity. On my visit the line seemed to move very slow.

Coaster Count: 147
