Has anyone done something like this before? I didn't see anything out there, so I scrounged for some maps and rotated them around a bit. It is really sloppy, but you get the idea... and YouTube basically squeezed all hope of clarity out of it :(

yes, i know when DD hit the park... just didn't have a map for that year.

Looks really cool! I haven't done anything like it. Thanks for sharing :)

Why did it stop at 2000?

Also, Chaos was added in 1997.

Sorry to be critically, it's a cool idea. Just wanted to improve it a bit.

Thanks... I stopped because I painted myself into a corner in some ways, and it was enough of a test to see how it would work. I also want to try to get some better maps. I know I bought a lot of the souvenir maps over the years... I might ask my parents to try to find them in their house.

I am going to try to go back a few more years and up to 2008 when that becomes available, and I might write some software to help me squish and stretch the different perspectives on the maps. Yikes... that even sounds like something that will never get done. Plan B: someone sees it and wants so badly for it to be better that they do it before I get around to it ;)

Make sure version 2 corrects Demon Drops date, 1983, not 84.

Nice work though.

Well it does make you certainly appreciate the park more I think as you see how we constantly get new things to keep us coming back, and how the park is certainly evolving.

I can not imagine going to CP and not being able to ride Magnum, Millennium, or TTD.

We rule because we have lots of coasters.

Very nice.

Don't for Challenge Park, Raptor, Mav, TTD..

but yes, nice.

@ jam- I think it's a cool idea and a good first draft. It's probably better to share it like you did instead of waiting to get it fine-tuned, when that might never happen. If anything, I'd suggest adding what you said here to communicate what you intended it to be in the video description ("About this Video" area).

This is a great idea. Jungle Larry's Safari had its last season in 1994 which is where Power Tower was built in 1998. For those who remember seeing the animals, there's a new site coming at www.junglelarry.com.
