It is most cost prohibitive for MS or anyone to fly and produce these files regularly. First there are still many settled places that they do not have yet in the 'bird's eye view' and second most places do not change dramatically from year to year.

I must say that the 3d is pretty neat, even if there isn't anything at CP yet. You have to go to a larger city to see what it's all about.
