Virtual Midway

Walt, I think you should get Virtual Midway back. I don't mean to be rude, but I think Virtual Midway by itself was way better than the two sites combined. The only thing I didn't like about VM was that it didn't have a message board. That site just seemed so great by itself, when you guys merged the two I was actually kinda upset. Oh well, I can see the flames coming already, just thought I'd let you know anyway......

Hey Joe you're back! Well Im sure this thread will be closed very soon, but VM did have some good stuff!

I like the sites combined. It makes it easier for everything to be found.

Go start your own site if you can run it better.

While I did like both sites by themselves, the new combined site is also very nice. I would be patient, as I bet there is a lot of stuff that may still need to be moved over from the other sites.

But otherwise, good job Walt and Jeff. I'm sure the site will continue to improve with time.

I didn't say there was a problem in the way this site was run, I said I liked the two sites by themselves more than I do when they're combined. Don't get me wrong this site is cool, but I prefer them by themselves. You can like something and still prefer something over it, and since this is the Feedback section, I'm "feeding back" and saying that I think they should un-merge the two sites. I politely posted my opinion, so I don't appreciate your hostile attitude towards me. I don't think I can run the site better, I never said I did and I probably never will.

The two sites combined are very nice, but VM IMO had much better gallery. When i click on a pic to inlarge it, I dont like ahving to wait for all of the other pics to load as well. If you have a slower internet connection than it takes forever.

You can't just unmerge the sites. And why would Walt and Jeff want to. If you read why they merged it was to prevent duplication which there was a lot of on the old two sites.

I'd like to see that changed too. It takes a long time to view new photos here because of that. The concept is good, but it doesn't work for me.

Yea, I do like Pointbuzz. It's a great source of info. The only thing I miss from the VM is the huge collection of videos, and somewhat pictures. I know, all of this takes time to get on the new site. I hope some day it will have the same collection.

Its very hard to make a web site and I like this one how it is. I liked both site before. I like Pointbuzz better then to two sites because more people are now on this site with gives more feedback and posts.

I never knew what GTTP was until VM and GTTP merged. I probably never would have found the boards.

Maybe you could all just accept the fact that Walt has a family more deserving of his attention than some 14-year-old kid looking for something to complain about.

Not to mention the increase in the number of hours I work in any given week since April. If you knew what my schedule was like on any given day or week, you'd be impressed that I manage to maintain any site. Having PB allows me to maximize my time - spending less time on maintenance and more time on content.
