Virtigo Gone?

I went to Cedar Point today and i saw in the employ parking lot the cedar parking lot and i saw the virtigo was not there no moreall that was left was the car and they had a crain in there and it was getting ready to take it away. All the rest of the towers are gone and I wounder what happened to it. I just thought I would tell you.

I'm guessing they settled out something with S&S. Isn't that why it was sitting there, because CP and S&S were having issues with one another?

I believe it was kept due to insurance reasons. I saw them loading the last remaining section of steel onto a flat bed truck when I was there on April 4.

Im confused as to what youre talking about, Vertigos been gone for about a year and six months, one of the towers collapsed and the entire thing was shipped backed to S&S for testing to see why it broke. I rode Magnum shortly after the incident and there is nothing there but picnic tables...

Thanks for the report chief, but the Vertigo incident occured last offseason, and it was taken out of Challenge Park and has resided in the employee parking lot since. As for the reason that it was just now removed, I really couldn't tell you.

Cedar Point has reinstalled vertigo! With everyone focussing on TTD they have managed to rebuild a "new" ride without anyone knowing! (j/k) Sorry, but I couldn't resist.

Wow. We had never noticed. And you rode Magnum shortly after VertiGo fell? (Remember that it fell in January of last year)
