virgins no more

I took what may be my final trip of the season on 9/19. Both of my children (daughter, 7 and son, 6) received their first red wristbands and were introduced to 11 new rides, 8 of them coasters, including MF! They both had a great time and was I was curious if anyone wanted to share similar experiences. The best moment of my day was turning in my seat to watch my son's face on the first drop on Magnum. Hearing my daughter using terms like "air time" and "head choppers" was pretty cool, too.

It's been three years since, but when my daughter (now 9) and I went for her first time it was the greatest. First I told her we where going to take some pics for my work in Cleveland, she fell for it until she seen the signs. We went in, walked back to The Wild Cat, took a ride she was in good shape. Next stop 2nd coaster ever, Millennium Force . She was kind of scared, we waited for the front seats. To look over at her on that near straight down 310' hill was the best, by the time we made it the second hill she was white as a ghost, and her mouth couldn't open any wider. But at the "How was your ride?" unloading platform she was screaming and clapping, she couldn't wait to do it again. We had a blast the entire day. We still have a junior in the family, she can't wait the ride TTD, MF, and Magie shes a trooper, her day is coming soon. She's at 45" now, maybe next year. But That was a great day for a dad.

Is there any major construction on SR2, or the Ohio Turnpike? Or even on (SR?)250? I know Interstate 280 thru Toledo may cause some delays. Any other delays that someone may know of?

We do headchops in marching band, is that the same?

May 1991 was my son's first trip to CP. He was just shy of 5 years old, but tall enough for the coasters. We didn't want to scare him, so we started out slow with Iron Dragon, but with every coaster he kept saying "I want to go on something BIGGER" until he finally got his ride on Magnum.

That day is still one of my favorite memories. My son is now 18 and in college.
