I was seriously considering doing the VIP experience, but it seems that the rules have changed.
Instead of being able to stay at one ride for as many times as you like, (within reason and in-between trains of course), you now can only ride Millennium (for example) 1x, then ride something else 1x before coming back to ride Millennium 1x again.
I understand that you don't want to inconvenience the other guests, but for $375 (new price), I feel I should be able to at least get 3 rides in before having to go on something else. After all......I'M A VIP!!!!!! (Sorry,.....just disappointed......guess I'll have to figure out something else for my income tax refund!!!! :)

Jeff has a good point. It would suck to buy a VIP experience and see a 15 minute wait for all rides :)
I know that I don't have the money to do the VIP thing so I don't worry about it, but I do know taht it can get frusterating when you have been waiting a really long time to get on a ride and it is your turn and then you get cut off by a VIP person! But you know what they say.... Money talks....
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
I'd hate having to ask someone to wait another turn on top of the waiting they've already done just so that a pair of VIPs can come in and ride instantly.
But I do not think it's a big deal you have to go to another ride before getting an additional ride on MF or the bigger ones.

I think it should be at the discretion of the person giving the tour. I think 2 runs on a ride in a row isn't going to kill you. But it certainly isn't hard to walk from TTD's exit to Power Tower and walk right by on TTD.
In fact if I had a VIP day I would walk in at 10 A.M and go to Magnum, then ride TTD, then Power Tower, than Raptor, Maxair, then WT, then walk over to Mantis, say no I am not riding you, and walk on to MF, then go to Maverick, then MF, then Maverick, then TTD, then Power Tower, then TTD, then back around to MF to Maverick, and I forgot Skyhawk, then Magnum, then TTD again because I am around it.....
But as a person in line it is rather annoying to wait longer. I seen VIP's take the first row and the look on the peoples face in the first row line. VIP's don't even look at you, primarily I think because they know you are pissed.
Don't VIP's also have a forced one hour lunch now? So in other words you have to go to a restaurant basically and take everyone out to dinner.
^ Wow thats a trip. The guide would probably go crazy and so will the ride ops. :-)
Now that I think about it I shouldn't get mad when someone is in my seat. They paid to be there and if they would like to spend 300 plus on it then let them. Because I know that I got the better deal by paying 160 and come in May and have my very own Vip tour(Kinda but who needs priority show seating.

Why would you be upset if someone paid to cut in line? It's not like you couldn't pay to do the same thing.
I guess I'm just lazy!!! I'd still like to do a VIP before I turn 50 so that gives me a few years to go....I don't live that close so coming over the 1st week CP is open isn't an option for me (or my family). We usually visit the 3rd week of July.

I've always wanted to do the VIP tour, but next year Im going to college, so money will be very tight. I think this summer would be my last chance.
First rollback=opening weekend '09
Just imagine going...balls to the walls busy....1-2 hour waits for corkscrew. You walk on everything.
^Why would I enjoy that? I have an SP, I know the days when I can walk on to virtually any ride in the park. And for those days like you mention, I have fun on them too, I get Maverick, MF and TTD done during ERT/opening, then do Power Tower, Magnum, Tilt a Whirl, Gemini, Skyhawk and Mean Streak by noon, head to Soak City for a few hours, head back into the park around 3:30ish and do a bunch of flats (Calypso, Troika, Maxair, Ceder Downs, Matterhorn) suck it up and wait for Raptor and then end my day with a night ride on MF followed by 2-4 spins on Magnum and leave. I have just as much fun on those days and end up only waiting in an hour plus line twice (Raptor and my second run on MF.)
