People were actually leaving the ride laughing and smiling, which is something I have never seen. Usually people are swearing to never get on it again.

The trains are awkward to sit in, with their almost straight seatbacks, lapbars and no padding anywhere.
I tend to think Villain would rock if it had better trains. As it is, it's just OK for me (balancing out the pleasure versus the pain). I prefer The Big Dipper (which is totally comfortable with all that knee padding and extra room if you ride by yourself).

The "trick track" was re-tracked this year and that's been it so far. Villain is the best ride in the park, just needs a little more tlc on it, and it'll be just fine (just work on the track and don't change the trains). *** Edited 7/28/2004 3:42:54 PM UTC by Magnum XL-200***
Where is/was the trick track and why is it called that?

If you keep your legs together like a prissy woman your legs dont get beat up as much. Thats how I ride and my legs feel fine.

Yes I do agree that the Villan was much better this year than years past. It has become my second favorite coaster at the park my first being the ever great Dominator. The best thing was that you hardly had to wait at all to ride it like most of the other coasters. The Mean Streak used to be my favorite but the Villian tops the Mean Streak big time.

Or get rid of that trick track...
It's the only part of ST that I don't get and on the Villain it is even worse. The trick track on the villain is taken so fast is just feels like pure pain rather than a throwback to Harry Traver's (it was him, right?)genius. I love the idea of the trick track, but it just doesn't do it for me. Regardless, I'm looking forward to the condition of Villain, RWB, and the Big Dipper next year.
I personally think the most comfortable trains are on The Racer at Kennywood. With great cushioning and seat dividers, it gives a great ride. I dont know why more woodies dont have these trains.

And I wouldnt mind seeing millenium flyers on RWB's. Like the trains on the thunderbolt.

Don't ask why, but I think the trains on the Conneaut Lake Blue Streak are so cool. The loose seat belt and just a bar to hold on to make it a killer ride (in a good way). But on my Villain, too many people would fly out, therefore causing the park to close down.
I haven't been to Geauga Lake this year, but I'm happy to hear they've fixed up my favorite ride. In my opinion, Villain is up there with Shivering Timbers and the Coney Island Cyclone (Waaaah, I want a Nathan's now, mommy! Li'l Miss Villain is getting homesick! ...but anyway...)
And I always thought a trick-track was like a CCI trademark element or something, but it is pretty pointless.
