Villager Hotel Question

I'm thinking about staying at the Villager Hotel on Route 6 in June. Has anyone stayed there before? They looked like the cheapest clean hotel I could find.

How do the lines compare on the weekends as to the weekdays??

I stayed at the Villager last May (note: this is the old Colonial Inn & Resort on Route 6). It exceeded my expectations as it was very clean and seemed to be freshly remodeled/refurbished. The micro-fridge, which is standard in every room, proved to be especially handy. For my buck, it's the best hotel value off-Point.

As for park crowds in June, weekends are typically a good bit busier than weekdays. In addition, you'll find people trying to "stretch" their weekend on Fridays and Mondays. However, once in a while there are "dead" weekend days or uncharacteristically busy weekdays. You might get lucky (or unlucky). In any case, don't forget to have a good time! :)

I stayed there closing weekend and I was really impressed with the price/cleanliness and everything. I especially liked that jacuzzi tub I had in my room. Made a long day at the park's soreness just melt right away. (not to mention it was a bit chilly so that helped warm me up quick too!) I'll be staying there again this year for sure.

We have stayed there several years now and been quite satisfied. There is also a continental breakfast spread set outside (but under a roofed pavilion) that is included in the price. For those who are needing adjacent rooms, compared to other motels, it is hugely more affordable. Have never tried the pool, though, because those in-room whirlpool tubs are so relaxing. For anyone who wants to travel "early" or "late" during the regular season, the prices are really low then. No traffic hassle; quiet; clean (really well kept); can't think of any negatives.

There are still the same number of que lines in the park no matter what day you go.

But then again, what do I know?

We've been staying there for 2 years now - GREAT prices and wonderful staff. The first week of May that CP is open is only $38.97 plus tax/night - you can't find that price anyplace else. The beds are comfy, and those whirlpool tubs are very relaxing after a long day at the park. The pool and hot tub outside are great, too. The continential breakfast outside is great, too - they have milk & cereal bars, granola bars, waffles, poptarts, small boxes of cereal, milk, juice, coffee, etc., and it's included in the price of the room.
