On cedarpoint.com they don't talk about video cameras.

The only rides, if I remember correctly, that you can use them on is Space Spiral, CP&LE Railroad and possibly Paddlewheel Exchursions if I remember.
Other than that, it's grounds for being removed from the park and possibly banned form the park.

Just not while riding.
You can even carry the camera on most rides if you're reasonable about it, but DON'T SHOOT WHILE RIDING. Those jerks who ignore the rules and do are the ones gradually making life miserable for the rest of us.
--Dave Althoff, Jr.
I would personally suggest giving it to a non-rider in your party, because I wouldn't want the camera damaged. It's your risk if you do take it on the ride. If you catch my drift.

Chris' Dictionary of Todays World words - (Commercial - 1. Any means of using an object, photo, picture, or display of anything for the sole means of making money for oneself or a company; 2. Selling. Examples: TV Commercial, charging for a hollywood copyrighted movie in a public place or just a public audience in general. Putting a video on a personal website in which you do not make money is not commercial)
According to that you can go to CP make a home video. Put it on your website as long as it is a personal website in which you do not make profit off of.
How about a real dictionary the law will recognize.
Merriam Webster online
(It's too long for me to copy so go there and enter commercial. Look at Commercial 1 Adjective)
According to that definition.Yes, you can still put it on a personal webpage so long as you aren't making money. (Edit to make a complete answer after reading Robs post below) and so long as you are not violating park policies to get your shots.
