VertiGo update?

Does anyone know anything more about VertiGo?

- Have they begun testing, and how long will they test?

- Have inspections taken place yet and if not then when should they?

- And finally, when should it open?

I know that sometimes we can only turn to Magic 8-balls and Miss Cleo... but I am really awaiting the opening of VertiGo and I'm trying to figure out when it will happen.

Next trip to CP on August 25th - 26th!

Haven't heard yet... making that call in the next day or so.. hopefully.. if not.. I'll be camping out the night before opening...

On a side note.. I did RipCord for the first time yesterday.. it was interesting.. not really what I was expecting, of course after skydiving for the past 10 years or so off and on.. I didn't expect it to be a life altering ride...

I watched them working on it today.  Boy I wish I could climb up the ladder of the towers, they were on them all day.  Anyways, they had been putting panels up on the sides of the 3 support bases and doing other little jobs around the platform.  The car looks cool, the cables are all hooked up to it and the towers.  I assume it's almost ready for testing.  Just by looking at how much taller it is than you when you're on Magnum really freaked me out.  Especially on those little seats!!

Today when we were getting ready to leave at about 4:30, they were slowly taking the car up and down. It looks very cool.
