A portion of one of Cedar Point's newest rides, fell to the ground Monday afternoon. Park officials say one of the Vertigo's 265 foot support towers broke about 65 feet above the ground. Cedar Point says the ride launches people almost 300 feet into the air at speeds of nearly 50 miles an hour. The park says no one was hurt and there was minimal damage to the area surrounding the ride. Officials say they're still not sure what caused that portion of the ride to fall.

Force Laps: 424
Wicked Twists: ???
So if it cost 1.9, assuming 1/3 of it is ruined from the fall, then around $650,000 is needed.
And S&S is on the way to help investigate..
