I wonder if it will have the video to buy like on Ripcord.... This ride will deffinetely pull 15 bucks out of my tight wallet.

Sweet. This sounds like a blast! Does anyone know if it will be the same scehdule system as Ripcord?
Hmm, 15 bucks. I guess this means they can get a fairly large amount of people on in a given hour. Here I thought it would be $30. I guess Kinzel was feelin' lucky seeing as how the ride is basically a prototype. S&S, you are welcome back to Cedar Point anytime you want, If you know what I mean ;)

That's a sweet idea! I'll have to get one of those...:)

...I may just have to take up that double dare thing next year...:)
I'm doing all three opening day (if I don't manage to swing it sooner, have the guys form S&S pulling for me. hehehe).

One a related note.. third tower was raised last night (yes I have pics) and cable stringing starts Monday afternoon. There will be a night crew and day crew for the next few days but the GP should be able to watch more construction again.

I guess Six Flags got theirs up first, if that means anything. check out www.twistedrails.com
Thier's is not open.. They have thier towers up a day after Cedar Point's but are behind on the the base prep and other work. Once again.. it's not a contest, they do NOT compete.. the 2000 miles may have something to do with it. And Dick Kinzel said it himself on "America's largest amusement park" - "We market to a 250 mile radius".

Now I know it's been a while since i was in a math class, but I'm pretty sure that 2000 miles between Sandusky and Valencia is larger than the 250 miles that Mr. Kinzel speaks of.

btw.. for people looking for an explination of exactly how this ride works, check my post at GTTP's sister site... Coasterbuzz...

I like it. Yet again, I am very impressed what CP, and S&S for that matter, can do in such a teeny amount of space!!!

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?"
Stan should receive an award for most creative things you can do a cylinder of compressed air.
Does anyone have any idea when this will be ready for the public to ride?
August 1st, isnt it?
