Actually, you should be saying what WAS Vertigo. Vertigo was one of the Absolutely Insane pay attractions built by S&S Power of Utah. It was a combination bungee/air powered/drop/launch thingy. It was torn out last winter (01-02) because one of the tower collapsed. Cedar Point decided that in order to keep public perception clean, it tore out the ride. Hope this helped.

Besides the great rides and being the best of everything, the best part about Cedar Point is that it isn't Six Flags! YAY!
VertiGo was absolutely awesome. i remember being scared out of my pants the first time i saw that it was just 3 big, flimsy looking sticks, and ya rode in a small triangle in between the aforementioned "sticks". I sat there with my friends staring at the thing contemplating what was the worst that could happen. one of my friends gathered up the courage, and bought a ticket. strangely enough, we all followed. what a blast. miss that thrill already.
