Vending Blunders in Line

So usually there is a person with a cart of ice cold drinks in the MF queue besides the DJ booth. They sell drinks for $2.50 when you can get them for $2 from the vending machines. I normally would pay the $2 to get them from the machines, and I have better conversation with the machines, but anyway....

It so happens that the vendors now sell these clips that you can put on a belt that will hold a bottle of water, pop, or perhaps beer if you go to a Cleveland Browns game. The neck of the bottle hangs from this clip, so you can now carry the bottle of water you just bought with you around the park on your belt instead of in your hand. (lazy people must have invented this idea since water is to hard to carry nowadays)

The only thing is though, people who buy this crazy contraption while in line for Millennium Force, will most likely want to keep this and the bottle while going on the ride. The only thing is though you can't take bottles with you on Millennium Force. Brilliant, sell something to people in line they can;t even use! Most likely they will though a fit on the platform when they are told to throw the bottle away, right after they throw a fit for not being able to chose their seat.

Hmmm sounds pretty cool...  but Joe I thought the vending machines were $2.50 also?

They were last year, then they wern't. Then they were this year, now they're not... if that makes sense?

Nope they are only 2 bucks !
I dunno - the bottles are cheap plastic Aquafina bottles, and you can put the bottle-hanging-string-thing in your pocket.

And I've been able to wait for any seat I want this season.

(This still doesn't change the fact that those string things are awkward and stupid to begin with, but hey... *grin*)

ummmm the vending machines are 2.50 too i remember my friend fussing over this "2.50 this is highway robery"

Vending machine prices were dropped to $2.00 around the beginning of August.  Cart vendors still charge $2.50, however.

Well they were plastic not string, but it probably accomplishes the same thing.

That's news to me, noboday ever said that they changed back to 2 bucks until now...

MF count: 20

Pop and water sold in the vending machines for $2.50 earlier this season, and then one day it was changed back to $2.00.  The vending people do still sell theirs for $2.50 and you get that clip thing.  It used to be that they would get a big straw.  They were a pain in the butt to always clean up!  It is a headache on platform when people have to throw their bottles away.  I don't know why people get so attached to a bottle of pop when it says no food or drink beyond the ramp anyways....
