I personally liked all three shows. Screamparks showed a cool look inside an amusement park. I thought that it was good for them to focus on one park. If they had jumped around, they wouldn't have been able to explain the running procedures as coherently.
Extreme Rides 2000 was great also. Of course they didn't show much of the brand new rides. They haven't been open long enough for much footage or many testimonials about how great they are. I didn't think that Millennium Force got jilted at all, they didn't show much of it, but they didn't show much of the other new ones either.
I loved the fact that they featured such a long segment on Shivering Timbers. When I went to Michigan's Adventure last year, I couldn't believe that such an awsome ride was in my home state of Michigan. I hope that this show brings it increased visibility and attention.
However, I have one question. Was Discovery Channel wrong when they said that Shivering Timbers is the longest wooden roller coaster with only one lift hill. I thought that Mean Streak was longer. Plus, I know that Son of Beast is longer, but has probably not been opened long enough for them to count it yet.
