So far, of the pictures I've seen posted anywhere, I have yet to see one of a side profile taken from the frontier trail. I've seen angles from the queue, and angles from SRF, but was wondering why nobody had an exact shot of the angle of the drop to the ground.
I did see this one at the Sandusky Register, but it's taken from the bay. Is there something (trees maybe?) blocking the trail from a straight-on perpendicular shot?

There are a lot of trees blocking the area. The best place to get a shot of the drop is behind the barn. My pics will be up by Wed.

I got some good "angle" shots from the Breakers parking lot.
Yes, the trail is wooded enough (not to mention next to the ride), so a profile from that area isn't really possible. I would agree that the ramp behing the pet farm barn is the single best location to check out the drop. Camp Snoopy offers a ton of place to look at the island turns.
