Using CP pass at DP question

I'm planning on hitting Dorney Park during my 3 park trip in Aug. Now my question is simple, how do I use my CP pass to get into DP? Some people have told me just go right up to the gate and they will take care of it there, I've seen people from DP do this very thing at CP last weekend. Others have told me to head over to guest relations. I just want to double check with the masses to make sure I'm going to the right place.

Any other tips for DP would be great too, since this is my first visit to DP.

Thanks for any help!

BTW, in case your woundering, the other two parks I'm hitting are Seamse Place and Hershey Park.

My Season Pass history with CF (CP & MiAdv) has been OK. They could do better with updating their scanners to accept ALL CF park passes to eliminate the hassle of passing through the office.

How hard would that be?

The guest relations people are right. Go there and they'll have you sign a form with your pass number and date. Then you go on through. They don't (or at least didn't in the past) even scan it.

I have a CP pass, but live only 90 minutes from Dorney. Been there, done that many times.

Cedar Point is the only CF park at accepts other parks' passes at the turnstiles. Every other park requires you to stop either at Guest Relations or the Admissions office to receive a comp. ticket.

If you have a CP parking sticker on your car, you may even get to park for free. I went last year for three days, I parked for free two times. Just ask the person at the booth. You might catch them in a good mood.

When I went to Dorney Park, we went to Guest Relations and they signed us in and then gave us One-Day tickets to pass through.

I'm going to Dorney Park this weekend. I'm glad I read this topic so I'm prepared. Last year at Mich. Adv. we had to sign in at the office and they wrote down our pass numbers.

I used my DP pass at CP every time I've gone there and they just write down the numbers on the season passes. That might be how they work at DP too but I'm not sure. This is where the benefits of having a non-rider along come in. Usually my mother takes care of staying there with the season passes and writing the numbers down and me and the rest of the fam sprint for Dragster!

Thanks for all the info.

Since we're on the subject of DP, how good are the coasters there?

I was at Dorney acouple of weeks ago with a Valleyfair pass. You need to go over to Guest Relations at the right of the entrance plaza and get a comp day ticket.

As far as coasters do not pass over Laser, or Talon..
