Using Amtrak - Getting to the Park

My daughter and I are looking at taking the train to Cedar Point this summer. Amtrak would arrive in Sandusky at 1:00 AM. Has anyone done this in the past? Are there taxis or Uber drivers you have used to get from the train station to Hotel Breakers? I have never used Amtrak and would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have.

There are a couple of taxi services in Sandusky but Uber and Lyft do not operate there.

There are usually people boarding and on boarding at both stops at the Amtrak station. You can call ahead and the police department will unlock the building at the station if the weathers bad. Space you can call ahead and have a taxi ready for you when the train arrives.
