USA Today Best Amusement Park

jimmyburke's avatar

I just read a story on Cleveland.com that Cedar Point was voted "Best Amusement Park in the Country", Steel Vengeance "Top Roller Coaster", Hotel Breakers "Best Amusement Park Hotel". It was a USA Today story so it can't possibly be fake news.

So, take that all of you pointbuzz critics!

No mention as to "Best Wheel installation Team".

I don't know how to post links to stories, perhaps someone else could.

While I am happy for CP and would like to congratulate them, my wife and I couldn't help but laugh about the hotel ranking list.

Don't get me wrong we think Breakers is a wonderful property but it can't hold a candle to the Disney properties on that list (with the exception of Pop Centrury).

I know these things are subjective but I'm of the belief that the people who voted probably never stayed at those Disney properties.

Disney and Universal are usually never really considered in these rankings. They're in a league of their own and typically described as "theme parks" compared to amusement parks.

Like the Golden Ticket awards It's all pretty arbitrary and meaningless in the end anyways.

No I made the comment because if you read the USA Today article it lists the top ten and almost all of them are Disney Resorts but Breakers ranked #1 above them. At any rate, a win is a win.
