Upper or Lower?

Hey everybody! I am going to Cedar Point on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week and I am looking Up! the weather for the days. As I look through the search engines, it says that there is a upper Sandusky, so I guess there is a lower Sandusky. Which one is CP in?

Sandusky. There is no "lower," and Upper Sandusky isn't up from anything, and is in fact south and not remotely near Cedar Point.

Jeff: Upper Sandusky is located just North of Delaware. Why "upper"? How is it "upper"? Easy. The Sandusky River flows North towards Lake Erie. Upper Sandusky is upstream!

And continuing our trip through obscure "Sandusky"-related trivia... the current city of Fremont was originally known as Lower Sandusky.

There is also a town called Little Sandusky upstream from Upper Sandusky, which as Dave pointed out is upstream from "Lower Sandusky", which is upstream from Sandusky.

This has been another Useless Fact(tm). Now, back to the thread. :)

And neither Sandusky nor Upper Sandusky is in Sandusky County. That's where the Sandusky River flows into the Sandusky Bay. The city of Sandusky is located where the bay meets Lake Erie.

Confused yet? I was until I looked at the map for a few minutes.
