Upgrade Gold Pass to Platinum Option

I'm not sure at the moment if a gold pass will be a sufficient season pass option for me next season. Does anyone know if there will be an option to upgrade to the platinum pass, having already purchased gold, should I decide I want one? If this is blatantly noted on Cedar Point's website or has been asked already, I apologize.

The best thing to do, I think, would be to contact CP via phone or e-mail. They'd probably have the best answer, and be willing to work with you on the spot to make the upgrade if possible.
