Well if you look at the footers you can see that the water isnt all the way up. still about 2 feet to go. How close can they get to the water?
^What's so funny?

Wow, the staging area is pretty empty. It seems like just yesterday it was filled to capacity with track. Its funny to me that the blue-tarped mystery is still there.
Or just the mysterious untreated pile of wood that is using your run of the mill blue tarp to prevent it from water damage before it gets used.

The blue tarp mystery is for the third of five coasters going in in the offseason. The Happy Fryer told me so.
^Oh, you mean CP didn't announce everything their building for 2007. They really have to stop doing that. :)

Does anyone know what those pipes in the last picture will be used for? I just cant figure out what would need that much pipe.
The AL Wildcard will come from the AL Central, and it wont be the Twins.

Birthdaymania 06- Ride On!
They're running new electrical service from the front of the park to the back of the park along (or under) Perimeter Road.
Electrical; Skyhawk had the exact same thing last year.

I was there today and I have to say, Maverick is an incredibly striking coaster. Even uncompleted, without the canyons and landscaping, it is truly a beautiful structure. This is one ride that will lend itself to any number of postcard shots.

And where would they use "untreated wood" on this project that would be protected from water damage such as rain and snow?
