On another note, I've noticed something odd about a pic from the blog.

Now it's probably just me, but it appears that something is attached to the trim section. They almost appear to have something white on them.
Again, it's probably just me. I think it's my eyes playing tricks on me.:)

I think you're just seeing the reflection off of the mount areas on the track.

I was just looking at today's update on Cedar Points page, and realized that Maverick will have an elevator shaft. I've never seen that before while waiting in line. That's going to be awesome.

The other CP rides with elevated stations usually have those cheesy "lifts" instead of elevators. But, they cost way less to buy and install. Wonder why they decided to go with the full-on elevator this time?

Im pretty sure that the elevator is not for the GP but more for people with special needs. Were stuck walking the steps..

When will we see a Pointbuzz update? I realize that park is closed and all, and I check back maybe once a week or so to see if there is an update and I just noticed it's been over a month. Walt or Jeff, got anything on the drawing boards?

Pyrocoasterkid, just give it time. You always have the supplemental updates on CedarPoint.com. Everyone was warned prior to the start of this offseason that updates would be few and far between.
