Wow, great pictures...especially the sunset ones!!

Could we have a wallpaper by any chance? They would look great as a background!

I just had my pocket digital last night. I don't think any of them are sufficient quality to look good as wallpaper.

Great Pics! I can just hear the trains roaring by. Love the sunset ones. You have a very good eye for shots!

This has really changed the look of Frontiertown. They are just moving along on this coaster fast. I would expect seeing this done before December!

p.s. cedarpointlover, you need to change your signature! That works now.

Thanks for the pics! Doug takes some really great pics. I always look forward to his updates.

Walt, those sunset pics were very cool too!

Thanks to both Walt and Doug for great pics as always. The sunset pics are just beautiful.

It's sad to think that the weekly updates will soon be coming to an end. At least we should see the track completed before the end of the season.

I just want to say thank you a second time to Walt and Doug for giving these pictures. Yesterday I posted and the update for October wasn't there yet; Oh Well. Yeah it sucks that the updates are slowing down anyway, but that's Ok I have some of the pictures saved. This way I can sit back and look at them later.

The Pictures with the track going over the pond are the best to me. It's going to be fun walking over the bridge next year and hearing people scream going down Snake River Falls First drop, and Maverick on the other side people doing the same. I'm excited For next summer of 2007.

Those pictures are beautiful. Not just the coaster, but the sunset in the background. Doug did a nice job!

I'm excited for next summer, but also excited for Halloweekends next year. When I was in line for Werewolf canyon on Friday night, I was thinking how great it will be to see Maverick flying through that heartline in the "fog".

I think there also might be a traffic jam in Thunder Canyon's exit next year as people stop to watch Maverick. :)

Nice pics Walt... It was certainly a great sunset last night to be taking them!

Hey is it just me, but on the animation when the train goes through the heartline roll, it seems to be going pretty fast. If your getting lanched at 70 and then you go down that turn pretty dang fast. It seems like that would hurt going into that that fast. Does anyone agree??

Brice Milleson

It's called a heartline roll for a reason. The track basically rotates around you.

Well the track at the top of the hill coming out of the launch seems to be set up for trim-breaks or something. You may not be going through the Heart-Line that fast.

I think you'll be cruisin :) I also think that'll be one of my favorite coaster elements ever.

Thanks Werner

With only a 700ft or so of track left to place, I think it is possible that we might see a pull-through before the season is over.

Perhaps they'd want to do a couple pull-throughs before the LSMs are installed and again after they're installed.

Mark

Great update. Thanks.

101 on Magnum and counting...

They seemed to make good progress today. If I counted right, they put up 5 support pieces and 6 track pieces today.
