Update: June 24 and 27

I will be there on Sunday, and I hope to take some pics for everyone to see.

Ride-on

Incredible that all the park has to do is have a field and they can bring people in. That's when you know you're good. ;)

If you're going to CP or going in the area towards CP look for that type of truck because it may contain CP parts... COWAN.

I work at a truckstop about 45 miles from cedar point and I try to ask a lot of truck drivers what they are hauling. unfortunantly (SP?) I have not been able to ask one that has track and/or supports. But, if I find one that does they may tell me they have tomato Soup, or tell me that they are not at liberty to disclose what they are carrying. I get that one alot, but the ones carrying expensive stuff like electronics or Pharmaceutical (SP?) have to be careful for theft because they could lose there job.

This picture has nothing to do with project 2007 too much, but it's neat how we're riding the CP&LE railroad and if you look closely you can see Mean Streak going down the Hill. http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4123

I just got back from 2 days of cp (27 & 28), Did see them drop off the supports on the 27th. On the 28th when I left, when I drove by something big was tarped off that wasnt their this morning, was box shape but tall. well taller then the fence. I dont have a camera. Was wondering if anyone got pics of it. I know I didn't see it on the 27th. Also did the put in an electrical green box in the construction area or was it always their. You can see it through some buildings near the swings.

I wonder what it could possibly be, ooohhhh aaahhhh.:)

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!

The electrical box is from White Water Landing.

^His period key is still broken.

It looks like all of us who were thinking that the pond from WWL would be re-used intact were wrong:

I wonder why they kept it around for so long. It makes me wonder about the fate of the small footers from WWL also.

Water is involved
R.I.P: The Mayor, Mr. Scott

Yeah, I kinda thought it might be gone, but I was surprised they left it for so long.

From what I could tell they are not going to get rid of the water all together. I think they may actually be making the pond area larger and will eventually line it the way they did the old swan pond.
Also, the way the concrete is cut in a nice even line in this picture: http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4095 would suggest they are planning on doing something. I would think they wouldn't take the time to cut a nice line like that if they were just going to rip it all up. They would have just taken the excavator and busted up the concrete so they could haul it away.

As well the pond area they are digging in seems to be larger than what was there and slightly much deeper now. I noticed they were digging much deeper than just the depth of the old concrete.

Anyways those are just my observations.... Enjoy all the pictures, more to come soon....

Thanks DrunkinMonkey!

Screamster Crew 02' And returning 2006 }:-)

Finally we have supports that can go 200FT+ and some much larger footers coming in. I was starting to get worried there.

Where?

Brandon

I think the ride will be under 100ft.

I think it will be between 200 and 300ft considering how many people love millenium force.

I think it will be between 0 and 1200 feet, give or take.

I have a feeling it will be somewhere in that range.

I saw it too, but it was raining when I passed, so didn't get very good look either. There's definately a lot more track showing up, but still no straight track that I could see.
