Cedar Point already has so many coasters and rides going in every conceivable spatial dimension or combination thereof, there's only thing left... time travel.
Yes, Maverick will take you back in time, for a ride duration of minus two minutes, twenty seconds, returning you to the station before you get in the train.
You don't even want to know what the rollbacks are like. :)

ooh..if that's true, that would help in the mockups section :)

I think if CP knew just how many headaches people on here have from all the project 2007 threads, I think they would have put this up:

Easy, I just extended the original pic, went over “change”, filled in the empty areas to make it look like one whole sign, rearranged “change” to make "headache", graphed it on the sign (lining it up with the line in the middle of the sign), and filled in any empty spots to make them fit in with the background.

Nice pic Adam...
Anyways, this morning they were draining the pond, but by early afternoon they had turned off the pump, likely because it was making a lot of noise. The water level is down about 6-12 inches, atleast.

:-D for some reason im ecstatic that they are draining the pond...I DONT KNOW WHY!
The more and more I think about it I think the new coaster for 2007 is going to be very similar to Intamin's "Colossus". Only for this ride, I think it will have a heavy western theme; going in and out of saloons and other western themed buildings (like the old white water landing station.)
For the height I'm guessing a steep lift hill and a 225 foot drop (going by the 5,10,15,20 foot pattern since magnum).
After the drop, a massive loop and "Trailblazing" through a couple of almost 90 degree revolutions. Airtime hills like Superman ride of steel and so on. Tight curves over water with a corkscrew or two. Maybe a cobra roll. Some dips under walkways, trenches. Well, just one coaster nerd's guess.
"Before you know it, that Maverick's got the drop on ya."
Well i just got back from the point today sadly for my first time this year so far, and i was all ready to take a bunch of pictures of some awesome stuff but honestly, i think you can see whats goign on better in the pictures here than you can really see in person.
First thing i noticed is th eswan pond area. It looks like some of the queue for Thunder Canyon will have to be removed in order to make some clearance for this coaster's entrance into the pond area.
Second thing i noticed as I was standing between antique cars and the old white water landing station is the fact that if antique cars area was being used for the coaster that a flythrough the station would be the perfect entrance and exit to this particular area.
It looks liek the area that is currently the construction area is pretty much settled in. It doesent seem liek there are many more holes to fill, piles of dirt to move or ground to level left. I would expect we see some vertical construction very very soon.
All in all it was a great day at the point, the 90+ temperatures kept everyone at home and we got in 4 rides on millenium throughout the day at an average wait time of 10-15 mins. Also dragster was a 20 minute wait. Its soo good to see that you really can get the best info on project 2007 right here. From my experience today im just gonna watch this construction start from my computer screen. Keep up the good work guys!

Huh?
Steve - Thunder Canyon's queue was already modified, so I wouldn't expect anything else to change there.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they remove part of Thunder Canyons queue this year while Skyhawk was being built? Because you look at it from Wave Swinger and it looks smaller then last years. To Me I think they have plenty of room for this coaster in the swan pond area.
