Nice pictures, but what do you think of the show? I sat in for like 5 minutes to get a few pictures, but I was sick of the show after two. No offense to the performers, I just don't like the show. *** Edited 8/7/2006 9:30:58 PM UTC by BlueStreak64***

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Yeah, Jen and I walked out after a few minutes. Granted, we were standing up, so that might have had some effect on it, but I didn't like the show too much either.

I went to the show after reading the thread from a few weeks ago where everyone said how bad it was. I didn't think it was nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be. It wasn't the best show I've ever seen, but it was worth watching. I enjoyed it the best I could, but it's hard to really watch and snap at the rate of 5 photos per minute. :)

I saw the show way back in late may and enjoyed it. I was one of a few in that previous threat who enjoyed it so, I made it a point to watch again during my trip yesterday. I thought it was much improved and even better! I think the girls do a quality job. Did anyone notice they cut out a song or two (moulin rouge comes to mind). Also, does anyone know who the gentlemen is who frequents the shows? Every show (even ones beside DD) I have been to at CP this summer he has been and seems to really enjoy them. Great for the entertainers to have a follower?

Ive never been to a cedar point show, i might go see one the next time im there.

It's not a bad show. The scene design and costumes are actually pretty good. I was a little turned on when the one woman did "Fever." Lots of vocal talent there overall. I just can't get into the shows that don't have a live band.

^^ You're missing a lot. In fact, I'd recommend holding off till Halloweekends and going to see Monsters Rock. Its a great show that I try to catch at least once each year.

I've got to agree with Jeff, the live band adds something to a show. No matter the vocal talent, there's just something missing without the band.

Which is why I love Rock the House and can't wait to see Monsters Rock: Eternal Jamnation. I've seen Rock the House three times this year, and I'll probably see Eternal Jamnation twice the day I go up for Halloweekends.

I agree with the need of the live band in the shows. The shows used to all have live bands, but they changed some of the shows to the prerecorded music a couple of years ago. As a performing musician myself, I have a appreciation for all of the shows, just bring back the live musicains to ALL of the shows. I have not yet had the opportunity to see the "Monsters Rock" show at the Red Garter, but I'm going to make a point to see it this year, as I have heard nothng but good things about it.

I know the lead piano player from back in the late 80s/early 90s (forget the exact year[s]) that played in what is now the Palace and formed a small jazz band there as well; as he is my church's music pastor and I interned with him for two months this summer. And the live bands have always been spectacular, and it's a shame that only the Red Garter has a live band now.

CPEFX, you definately don't want to miss out on Eternal Jamnation. I'll definately make it a priority to make the first and last shows of the day when I go up (most likely Oct. 21). Look for me at one of the front tables if you're there that day.
