Update: August 2 and August 1

Was it inverted?

Actually, I believe it was inverted. But everyone on here has been telling me that it won't be an inverted coaster. The idea can still be the same, though...I feel.

Maybe they're doing something different & not going by 'the book.'

"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"

great pics guys. I have to wait till sunday to see it for myself, since i work till then. i do not think an inverted is possible. would be sweet though.

Maybe Colossus?

I now think that the descending supports going into the many short supports will be a storage track underneath the station. What do ya'll think?

Why is the flanged side of the support that attaches to the track is facing the ground when looking at the side that attaches to the footer? Looks like it will have at least on inversion, and low to the ground not to mention.

what if it were to do a triple or quad heartline through that straightaway with the connecting supports above/below the track at different points.

It was my pleasure.

CPGuru, that looks like an inversion for sure. Im thinking a low to ground heartline roll or something along the lines of that.

CPGuru, I think you're looking at that wrong...my guess is that piece is going to look just like the support in the middle of this pic:

I just went to tony and tyler post and this is what it said....Changing gears, we’ve got some exciting surprises coming up that we'll be taking out of our 10-gallon hats…

The winds of change are a-blowin’!

What do you guys think.Maybe they are going to give us some more clues.Or maybe they are going to tell us ever thing.

Probably clues, maybee a little more specific than in the past though.

TommyTom, If they stick to what they have said, we won't have anymore clues about Project 2007.

Yes, but the picture I was pointing out had the flanged side (the side that always attaches to track and not another support) and how it is pointing downwords.

That support you pointed out has two flanges on the "non-footing" end. The one pointing towards the ground will be a support and the one angled to the side is for the track.

There's no way to tell if a flange is attaching to a track or another support. They mix them up.

The only flange that for SURE connects to something is the one with the big tubes on it. That always connects to a footing.

I made the connection in another thread, but for anyone that didn't see it...

Don't these supports:

seem to make sense now that you see these:

I see a real connection, and you dont even need to go outside of CP to see it. Doesent the idea of these supports really resemble Millenium Force's Lift Hill?
http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=1126
The only difference is Millenium force uses a scaffold type style of towers, however with track running under what could be this rides lift hill you dont use that style, instead you use simple large supports.

Mechanical Engineer: Dont mess with us, we design your coasters.

Yet, the supports arent sloping upwards enough for it to be a lift hill capable of droping the coaster at a height making it possible for the train to actually complete the circuit...

^^I see your point, but that picture is of the third hill, not the lift. So, this could be a lift or just a real nice air hill, and from the size of those supports and proximety (sp?) to the footers near the fence

I'd say the track will be fairly tall at those points, relative to the past supports already in place on site.
