Unnecessary Closure

I'll probably get in trouble for this, but I don't think the Gay Day thread should have been closed. People got way out of hand, yelling at him for "shoving" something in their faces. He was simply mentioning a tradition. A lot of the comments that were made were obviously not made for the purpose given, they were made for a hidden reason (ex. "Oh, well then I'm glad I went yesterday"- that's rude). The last reply said it very well; it's just a day to celebrate diversity, and until we have equal rights, we deserve a little recognition. I think it was an interesting topic, and I didn't know about Gay Day. Hopefully this doesn't get closed!

It was lame. It wasn't a positive thread. It wasn't going anywhere but down. It was probably a good thing it got closed.

See, there you go again. I have seen many lamer threads, and I'm sure you have too, you're just thinking of any excuse to whisk away homosexuality. Stop running away, it exists. If you don't like it, don't comment.

I'm looking forward to coming back this year, one to celebrate the Gay Community, and two to enjoy the park I love so much.

It can't get much more positive than that...

I don't care what you think is appropriate, you don't pay the bills. Move on. The guy started a thread for the express purpose of being confrontational, and we don't need that. It's not a gay issue.
