Uniforms

Anyone know where I can get a Ride Op uniform? I had the idea of dressing up as a CP ride op for Halloween this year, and I thought it'd be a neat idea. I doubt Cedar Point would let me buy one of off them, but I was wondering if anyone would let me buy theirs off of them (if CP even lets you keep them).

Or If anyone knew of a place where I can get something similar to a ride host uniform somewhere else.

Yeah, weird request, but just wondering if anyone will help me out.

Red polo shirt...may have to add the blue stripe and blue collars yourself.

You might be able to find tacky blue shorts at a Goodwill or Salvation Army.

Yeah, speaking as someone who's worn those uniforms...really weird. ;-) But have fun!

You could work there and not return the uniform.

Thats what I did... Actually I had an extra one somehow... so I turned it in over and over till I got a nice one... then kept it. But I lost it since then. Still have my lifeguard shorts though. And my ID's....

Don't forget your "candy cane" which is PVC pipe covered with colored electrical tape.

Blue for 46 inches
Red for 48 inches
Yellow for 52 inches
Green for 54 inches

Aren't they actually cut 1/4 of an inch longer since they get worn down by the end of the season?

I love the candycanes. Its always fun talking to the "stick dude" too if you get stopped right before him.

Well if anyone has an "old" uniform they haven't used, mind PMing me? The I get this costume together the better.

Just a word to the wise... don't wear it to the park if you do find one, CP is really strict about not wearing a CP uniform in the park unless you are working. You won't get on any rides other than the train. At least if the hosts are doing their jobs properly that is.

About the candycanes...we have candycane inspections. If they are too short we tied 'the orange' tape around them. State Inspectors are really strict about height requirements. There are tons of replacement ones. But the question about length, they are not cut 1/4 in too long. they're replaced about every 3-4 weeks
