Doesn't the ANACONDA down at Kings Dominion go underwater?

JasB67, that is exactly what I was going to say. There is at least one coaster (Anaconda) that goes into an underwater tunnel.

However, it is just that, a tunnel, not the entire ride.

You can't see anything under that water anyways. Anaconda is just a average Arrow looper. The tunnel is mostly just for spectators. It is made of cement and is very short. It was not worth the wait.

Isn't Sea World Orlando's new coaster supposed to go underwater too?

Anaconda has an underwater tunnel. The Mine Train at Six Flags Over Texas has an underwater tunnel. I'm not sure about Sea World's Kraken, but it might. The difference is that the other coasters with underwater tunnels go under man-made ponds and lakes. It's a heck of a lot easier to control the water level in a small body of water like that. How are you going to control the water level of Lake Erie to keep a tunnel from flooding?

How will Cedar Point stop the "Lake Erie Monster" from destroying the coaster, if it's built in the lake?:)
