GO SHAMROCKS!
GO WOLVERINES!
Does anyone know if Undertaker U will be permanent, or will they only use it for Halloweekends?
I thought that it was just going to stay up all season like the other two. Now I am being told it's going to actually be a ride of some sort.
That's not to mention that they are supposed to be adding a temporary haunted house in the Dodgem 2 building. This is where their "new ride" money is going!

2001 park line up:
Cedar Point: June 1(canceled), 2, 3, 11, July 4-5
Soak City: July 3
Sean - I'm sure CP can afford to install a haunted house with funds remaining to install a ride or two for 2002.
I sure hope CP uses this as a full-time operation. If what you said is correct, CP may finally have a dark ride (again)!

Whelp, we have seen them build temporary structures. We have seen the build permanent structures. My opinion is that it looks like both. The fact that they are using what appears to be the old roof makes me think it semi-permanent. It is 100% not like the temporary structures they build every year. Last HW we stood in that huge line for a two minute scream just to turn around and do it again. The comments that were floating around where like 'Geez, I wish they had one of these all year long.' Maybe they are willing to try it out. The other possibility is that they need a better infrastructure to have a better 'scare' then they could get with plywood. Regardless of what they do, I think it's going to be cool...

Get with it or die in the process.....
That wall going up looks very substantial to me, it's not something that is temporary IMHO. Nothing wrong with using the old roof, and the building already is equipped with a sprinkler system that was installed a few years ago.
I didn't know about the sprinkler system. I assumed the structure was out of date because they moved the carousel out a few years back and nothing has really been done to it. They used it for the temp HW haunted house's but that's it. I said semi-temp. Maybe it's more like semi-permanent or permanent.

Get with it or die in the process.....
The building, such as it is, was built in 1972 to house the Frontier Carousel, so it's not that old as buildings go. The sprinkler system was the first tip-off that they were going to put a haunted house into the pavilion a couple of years ago...apparently haunted houses are required to have fire suppression systems while roller coaster queue houses and antique wooden carousels are not. So if you're wondering what pavilion or building might next be converted into a haunted house, keep an eye on the plumbers...!

Is that undertaker attraction just for Halloweekends, or season round?
We don't know yet!

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?"
I got a good look at it this weekend. It looks like it has two sliding doors on the front. Could be decoration though. They way the walls meet the roof and how solid it looks, makes me belive it's staying for awhile. I'm not sure what type of wood that is but it's not cheap. Anyone have any clues?

Is this ride for the actual Undertaker (WWF Fame?) or just for the generic undertaker title?
