The building, such as it is, was built in 1972 to house the Frontier Carousel, so it's not that old as buildings go. The sprinkler system was the first tip-off that they were going to put a haunted house into the pavilion a couple of years ago...apparently haunted houses are required to have fire suppression systems while roller coaster queue houses and antique wooden carousels are not. So if you're wondering what pavilion or building might next be converted into a haunted house, keep an eye on the plumbers...!
