Things the family were wondering...
- What year was the Blue Streak's station converted to the present configuration? When were the manual brakes removed?
- Do they ever use the DJ booths in the queues anymore?
- Do they still use the dorms near the marina? How much do employees pay to live there in the summer?
Had a great time (other than a moldy Subway sub in Soak City). Kids can't wait to go back.
The dorms near the marina are still in use, according to the Jobs section of the Cedar Point website, they pay $4.29 per day.

They are used everyday at Millennium Force and on the weekends at Raptor for Jamming DJ's.
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
Blue Streak station was reconfigured and computer added 1994, trains butchered in 1996.

Cedars dorms are the dorms by the marina. My husband stayed there in 2000 when he worked there.
Most the DJ booths are not used a lot, except Millennium and raptor for the DJs.
and...a MOLDY subway sandwich....geez, how much did you have to pay for it? :P

Can I have an Amen?
Chris
AMEN!
Thanks, everyone. The moldy sandwich was refunded. There were at least two others that I saw. One guy just walked up and threw his sandwich at the Subway "artist" and walked away. They closed for 5 minutes, pitched all the bread out, rolled up a cart with a new batch, and reopened. I don't think my son will ever eat at Subway again.
