Umm...New lap bars maybe?

I was looking at some pictures...

I have a few Superman (sfdl)on rides from this year and compared to my MF pics, the lapbars are in MUCH better shape. Do you think that CP should replace the lapbar padding possibly? They are looking pretty gross.

Just my 2 cents.

When I rode a couple days ago, they seemed normal. We were in the yellow train.

I haven't noticed anything about them being in poor shape. I'm sure they're replaced on a regular interval.

DELETED! What time does the water show start?

I'm sorry, I sorta said it wrong. The actual lapbars are in good shape, but the yellow isn't yellow, its brownish yellow and it looks bad. Do you think CP will replace the actual padding because of that?
They've never bothered me, but I guess the brightness of the lapbars have never been a major concern when riding...I doubt they'll be replaced until next year because the regular season's already over and it's not that big of a deal.

The padding is replaced periodically as needed. The reason for its "dirty" appearance? Bugs and just general dirt. You can't use harsh cleaners on the bars so pretty much it's just hand soap and water, which isn't nearly enough to get those muffleheads off.

On top of that, when you think of how many hands touch them daily, its no wonder they're dirty. Just think, the queuerails have all the same germs :)
...Yeah, it's just better to not think about that
Heck, I think they should replace the Millennium Force lap bars with the same type of bar that they use on Dragster.

The difference is subtle, but for some of us, critical.

Yeah i got the Boys hurt when a nice and kind ride op slammed the bar down on me, the bent bar needs to be implemented badly!

I totally agree with that one....Even though the restraints never really hurt me on MF. The restraint feels uncomfortable. Where as on dragster the restraint fits tightly but very comfortable.

I been on SROS (sfne) recently....The condition of their restraints are alot worse then MF. On some the yellow cover was peeling.

I don't know about all of you, but for me, when i use a lap bar, I am hoping that it will hold me in place and keep me safe.... not that it looks pretty.

Yeah, you're supposed to be looking at the track ahead of you, not at the safety bar the whole time.

The money it takes to replace lap bars on millennium Force can instead be saved up for a new attraction in 04.

Where would we be without CP?:)
