Twisted Sister

Well, I blame The Morning Journal, since that is who employs Mr. Walsh.  Althought it's probably his fault, since the photographer is normally responsible for the cutline as well.

"Construction works at Cedar Point Amuement Park install the final piece of the "Twisted Sister" ride Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, in Sandusky, Ohio. The coaster will tower 215 feet above Lake Erie, and will be the one of 15 roller coasters at the park. The least the photographer could have done was ask one of the workers what the name of ride was...Not only has he embarassed Cedar Point and all their die hard fans like us, but he has embarassed himself as well...All he would have to do is go up to one and say "Hello, I am a idiot newspaper columnist and photographer and I was wondering what you call this ride that you're building?" It's the easy...But maybe this is Dan Quayle doing a side job...:) You never know these days...

Sad thing is that now the GP in Saginaw probably will be going to Cedar Point during the summer asking people, "Where's Twisted Sister?"

This wasn't just Saginaw it Ran..It was AP so it was spread out anywhere the local papers wanted to pick it up..

I'm not embarrassed by it in the least and i doubt CP is either..CP or I didn't make the mistake..I think its halarious to be honest and quite amusing..Just goes to show you that you shouldn't believe everything you read in todays sensationalized press huh?

In the Lorain Morning Journal, it was reported correctly.  I don't know where it could've gone wrong.  Underneath the photo, it says the picture was taken by Walsh, and the caption says Twister gets ready to roll.

How about this quote that I just read:

"Cedar Point's Wicked Stepsister is going to be the Cinderella story of the season."
