New Blog Saying 10:30 is a new TV show that only aired in the UK until now.

DARN IT! I have stupid cable. About 99 channels with science channel not being one.

Im all mad because my TV tuner on the computer is shot. It plays nothing, and I have no tivo or vhs tapes to record it. Hopefully it will air later on down the road again so I can eventually record it. Or if im lucky they will offer it for purchase.

*headdesk*
I knew we should have gotten the digital cable.
It's called Millennium Force, not "Millenium" Force. Thanks.
I just checked the listings on The Science Channel and they are running the program through out the day on Friday. The Science Channel is on channel 193 on Dish Network.
Sarah
And 117 on Charter Communications (if any of you live that far away)...
Anyway, it wasn't a bad 10 minute clip, although I almost felt like the show was just a break from all the commercials...They still had the heartline roll in the animation, makes me really wish they didn't have to remove it...I guess they did the whole segment at Cedar Point but I'm a little surprised there was no real mention of Kingda Ka...
While Dish Network and Direct TV's channels may be the same throughout the US, cable company's vary by area.

Ride on, MrScott!
I checked the listings too for the Science Channel. -- It looks like they plan to run it several times throughout 7/5 too if you miss it on this Friday. Digital cable and DVR are such a wonderful thing to have at times.
Loopy is correct -- cable company channels vary by area not the company.
Keep in mind that Time Warner bought out large areas of Comcast's cable networks in OH and PA within the past year. With Time Warner (as huge as they are), it can be on several different channels depending on where you live.
If you don't have digital cable or some kind of dish service, you probably don't have the Science Channel (one of the channels of Discovery Networks offerings).
I liked the segment up till the KingdaKopyKat part, haha. But it did have a lot of good CP coverage. Also, what was that 4-D design layout part at the beginning? Was that one of the possibilities before Maverick I assume? It was similar to THIS
Cedar Point Lifer, RideOp, Now Park Guest
2008 - Mantis/MF/Skyride
2009 - ATL Raptor
2010 - TL Sweeps
2011 & 2012 - Area 3 Rides Supervisor
[url][url]I noticed that too and started a new topic about it. Sorry if this is a more appropriate location for that question.
My guess is that it would replace Demon Drop. Hope so! The ride may be short, but certainly unique and eye catching like most Intamin rides.
If you're not familiar with the ride, you can check out a POV (http://www.hs.fi/videot/1135226783338), and off ride: (http://www.hs.fi/videot/1135226783340).
Even with 3 cars, that ride is only rated at 640 pph. That's nowhere near high enough for CP.
Goodbye MrScott
John
Am I the only one who thinks that ride looks incredibly lame?
It's a 40 second ride, and really seems to only have about 10 seconds of any sort of thrill...
Ripcord Crew 2002 / MF Crew 2004
If they could make that ride twice as long with more cars, then I could see CP concider building one... or even two of these side by side. Haha. But I think that this was one of the rejected proposals before Maverick came into the picture. I remember The Board talking about it at CoasterMania, anyone else?
Haha, this is BGRooDoG btw... My dad was logged in for some odd reason =/

^^ Sounds like you're describing Top Thrill Dragster. Oh wait, those stats are way higher than what TTD gives. :)
Well we know Intamin does have a bigger version of it's ball coaster, but the drawing was exactly like Kirnu.
Regarding capaciy, what's the capicity of Demon Drop? Since it isn't a roller coaster and not being manufactured any more - I couldn't find this information. It can't be much different than the Intamin Ball coaster imo.
