TV Ad

Yes i know this is kind of pointless but...When was the last time CP had a TV Ad?

I would like to have a battle of the wits with you...but you seem unprepared.

If you mean in the short term, I haven't seen one in a few days. They've been on all the time, I believe only on the CBS, ABC, and NBC channels, the local channels. But I might have seen some on other channels as well.

Ya, there's a few, three I think, ads out. Also, you should check out the video on the CP website, if you already hadn't. It's pretty good, it's the one right on the home page near the top. It has some pov's, and all over footage of the park. The video also has it's own catchy song! (Come on, get on.......)

Yeah, I watched that video a while ago, the phrase: (C'mon, Get on, Cedar Point!) Was stuck in my head for I don't know how long!

That's actually a pretty good video, I'm suprised they can't like buy some time on MTV to get it played on TRL or something. I think CP should win a moonman for it.

I haven't seen the video on the web site yet, but I did see a commercial that sounds and may look like the video yesterday on channel 5.

I'm seeing the ad's much more than previous years. Maybe I'm watch more TV I don't know. But I mainly see three different ones. There's the one for Millennium Force with the guy going crazy, there's the one for Top Thrill Dragster, and there's a one for the whole park. The Millennium Force one gets annoying after a while.

Ya, I think CP really boosted their commercial ads this year. I hear them on the radio and see them on tv more often than last year. And I do agree, the wild kid talking about Millennium Force is annoying.

In Cincinnati, I often see big billboards advertsing Cedar Point. They often appear on that highways that lead to Kings Island. Nice strategy, IMO. No TV ads down here, though.

You can just hit the edit button on your post to edit it. That's a very nice strategy by CP. If people don't like King's Island, I don't know about it, never been, they'll remember the billboards of CP!
