Tunnel Construction

I've been hearing a lot about CP being anxious to start testing, but can they do that while the tunnels are built?

If CP is going to test anything it would be the lift. They obviously cant test the trains because well the track isnt complete. But testing the lift shouldnt have anything to do with the tunnels.

Well as long as all of the track is up, and the weather is warm enough they can get a head start on those 1000 hours of testing. They can build the tunnels whenever they want. I have seen Magnum POVS shot in early May and when the train pulls into the station you can see workers still contructing, and working on the station.

Are they really going to test MF for a 1,000 hr.? That seems a bit much to me.
