TTD's launch? What does it feel like

I know this isn't about the thrill of the launch, but I feel it fits in here a bit.

Is the water dripping on the launch track for cooling of the cable when the ride is launched?

I noticed the steam coming from the wheels near the hydraulic rooms. Pretty amazing.

Forget all of this TTD/Drag racing business, I'll take the Nimitz steam launch.

But more on topic, I think dert's kind of right. The launch is definitely much more powerful than what you'd experience over at WT, but the continuous accelleration is what really makes it what it is.

"It's a very comfortable feeling of discomfort."

I know I was the first to reply, but I think that pretty much sums it up.
