TTD up for first time since sunday!

It took a while but its finally going again. At about 3:00 on the 30th (figures, my last day).

Why was it down in the first place? Also, did they put the sixth train(red) on the track.

From everything I've gathered, they will not be running 6 trains. Its actually no more efficient than the 5 train system. So the 6th train will kept so that when one needs maintenance, they can put the 6th on to replace it.

Yeah, isn't this one of the first times, if not the first, that it's actually been open for ERT?

Times I have entered CP to ride TTD - 9 since last year.

Times riden - 0, due to breakdowns.

To summarize, I have been to CP 9 different days, on 4 visits, and it is always down, the latest being June 28-29th.

TMAN, ouch! And I thought I had bad luck. We go for one four day family vacation in mid July (every year for the past 17 years) and my wife and I will try to do an anniversary visit in September. TTD was down both times.

I was really getting scared about this year.

It's getting a bit old now, but we still have a blast at CP. The funny thing is, my friend goes down there once a year, and has ridden it 4 times. Some folks have all the luck. My guess is that I wasn't meant to ride it. As long as the MF is running, I get my rides in.

No, 8 out of 9 times that I have gone so far this year, it has been open, with last Sunday being the 1st time that it wasn't open for us.

TMAN264... I think your jinxed. I've been on top thrill about 8 times now (7 front seat 1 back seat). Front is better. Every time I've been there there has been intermitant downtime, but never completly shut down. Now, there have been times when I have delayed a trip to CP because I knew it was down. But I've not yet experienced an unexpected shutdown where it didn't come back up later that day.

Yeah, I think so too. I was so pumped at our Sunday afternoon check in to see the ERT's were MF and the TTD, and once we got to the park, we took our time due to the ERT for Monday, But alas, I could see that it was down, and by the time we were back at the Breakers Express, the ERT's were Raptor and MF.

You can nevre go wrong with MF, but I really need so alone time with the TTD, it's getting to be an obsession.

I guess I was right, TTD is not yet reliable.

Go Ravens and Lakers, don't worry, we'll bounce back.

X at SFMM is frickin awesome, it's a must ride for all coaster fans.

IIRC, TTD has NEVER opened for event ERT. We'll see what happens at CoasterMania.

I'm not too worried, even if it is down we will get to ride Mean Streak in the dark, Disaster in the light, Mine Ride in 3D, or something. ;).

Can anyone give me any approximate wait time once in the queue? It always seems like they only fill half the queue, what's up with that? But from that point, how long have you had to wait?

Well, it's closed again...

I've never waited more than 1.5 hours except for opening day when I waited 4 hours.
