TTD Troubles on Sunday

I was at CP for Halloweekends on this past Sunday (28th), and we all know that there was peroids of rain, and we all know that it doens't cope well in rain. In my opinion it did poorly this time around. I have ridden the Dragster in the rain my first couple of times, and the first couple of launches it rolls back, but is then ok. But this time, we were on the ramps to the station when we got delayed, and were lucky we got to ride before they closed it for the night. 2 of 5 rolled back consistantly, while loaded with people, and they would wait for the longest time before re-launching it. Was anyone else there to experience the same?? Anyone know why it broke down so much this weekend??

It broke down because its Top Thrill Dragster. Wouldn't be the same if it didn't.

Just to clear some things up, the computer system on Dragster won't allow anything to happen for set time limits depending on what is occurring. I'm not saying this is what was happening, but it does delay some things that they do.

MANTIS ROCKS 2002 & 2003

I was waiting for the ride Sun. night. There was a problem with the block before the unload station, train stalled there for awhile. After that was fixed (10 min.), the first train launched rolled back. Train launched again with the last car empty, this time it made it over. After that, the ride ran until the line was emptied after closing time.

The combination of the rain and cooler weather does not help.

Not every rollback is weather related. When we don't relaunch the train immediately, it's because we're waiting for maintenance to come and fix something.

I was there and Dragster's downtime didn't seem any worse than normal. Okay, the rain and cold certainly didn't help matters, but it was still running. Now if I could just get that elusive rollback...
