TTD status

On cedarpoint.com there is a link in the left column which states that status of TTD. just wanted everyone to know.

I just noticed it, too.

I don't think the general public will even know what "TTD Status" button means.

It means if TTD is down, you hit the "TTD Status" link and the mechanics will fix it, right? ;)

I'm glad they added the TTD status to the site. Hopefully aug 1 - 4 its open bcuz last year when i went i got on it every day and this ride is intense

Sorry Walt, didn't know there was a topic already opened. I thought I was the first to see it. Anyway, I guess they felt the need to bring it back.

the bad thing is if you booked a resort and check the day before you go and it says down all week you can't cancell

I was just wandering y the status right now TTD is still operating today with some downtime although the park cams are showing noone near the ride.

I don't trust the webcams so much anymore. Does the status thing say whether it will be down in future coming days? Like, if they decide to inspect the next day or something. It'd be nice to know that the day before I go to the point, there's no way I'd check the same day I'm going to CP.

Just because the status page says Dragster is scheduled to be in operation doesn't mean it will run all day with no breakdowns, hiccups, or needed maintenance. Also, do not forget to factor in the weather. I'm pretty sure it was showery in the Sandusky area today...That status page doesn't take that into account either.

Personally, I like the status indicator here best.

It's short and to the point. And it's done with pictures!

I think so too. It's like a million times better than those stupid web cams posted on the CP web site. Its got a regular TTD and a blown up TTD. Thats the greatest thing ever! lol
