We just got the Republica CD with the song: READY TO GO. Now I can enjoy some of the music from TTD during the long winter offseason!

I ordered it from Amazon.com and it was cheap, only around $5.00. It is a good CD too. It has 2 versions of the song. I suggest ordering it if there are any left.

Yeah, the guitar version blows. It was made for US audiences. The electronic version was the original version that shipped in most countries.

I got both versions on iTunes. I'm all about the electronica version.

There's another good song on that CD called "Drop-Dead Gorgeous." I believe it was in the movie "Scream."

Republica could play NEAR the platform then. That would be fun, and that's what CP is all about...fun!

Hey Joe... if you have nothing to contribute, go away.

That whole album is pretty good. "Picture Me" was always one of my favorite tracks. They were crazy insane in concert. Saw them back when Peabody's was down in the Flats. That skinny little woman had a lot of energy. Bummer they never did anything noteworthy after that.

I think Rebulica would get tired of singing that every 2 minutes until the ride breaks down then she'd be like thank god.....lol.

I am pretty certain that that song is also on one of my wife's Jock Jams compilation CDs.

I got a few other tracks on that album from iTunes and wasn't really all that impressed.

I'm with Ginger, though. Hire the band to actually play at the ride. Lord knows they're not busy anyway. Pay them what the ride ops are paid and the band will probably double their yearly salary. ;)

I like the theme song to this ride, and how it gets louder and louder as the spiel nears it's end. I found a song from Dance Dance Revolution, that they should have used, and would have been perfect for the ride, its called: "The Race". Its a great fastbeat techno song.

thank you.....and enjoy your record breaking ride on Millennium Force!

I prefer the guitar version over the techno version. I love techno but in this instance I just think that the guitar gives more power to the song and makes it better overall.

Thank you CP bound. I feel the exact same way. The guitar gives the song more of a rock taste while the techno part is more pop. & I'm glad CP chose the rock one over the techno one. The techno one would fit in with Millennium Force but I really don't think that they should use the same song for their two main attractions. Ok.. I'm getting a little carried away now!

If republica did the song live... would they go with the auto spiel or just do the whole song. That would be pretty amusing to watch them go along with the auto spiel for hours and hours.lol

Yeah, because that's exactly what they would do with a song that was released about seven years before the ride opened.
