TTD on ESPN2

TTD is on ESPN2 right now! It wasn't an animation! I was watching drag racing and all of a sudden I saw a TTD train launch down red and white coaster track. It was ausome to not see it on the computer because I live in Albany, NY and never get to see anything. It was the Southern Nationals Qualifying: From Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Ga. If you missed it and you want to see it, it will be on again at 4:00am Sun 5/4, 4:30pm Sun 5/4,and 7:30pm Sun 5/4. Since a lot of you will be at CP riding this beast tomorrow, this is when it will be on on Monday: 3:00am Mon 5/5, and 12:30pm Mon 5/5. I only saw the last hour so if they said anything about TTD sooner I missed it. But they definiatly show stuff about TTD in the last hour. So for all of you who are not going to the park tomorrow and feel left out, like me, can still watch it on TV tomorrow.

Well, Ryan, I just watched the last hour and-a-half of the thing you were just talking about, and I saw no sign of TTD what-so-ever. Are you sure ESPN2 wasn't just advertising a new race for today at the same location?

Well im going to be spending the next half hour watching The Simpsons, so I hope I don't miss it.

I'll back Ryan up on this. I had just tuned to drag racing when the spiel about TTD was on. A couple of pro dragster drivers were riding it, then. As you would expect, they didn't seem to be phased one bit by the launch. But, these guys tend to stay horizontal. The "hill" freaked them out, a bit. I believe it was some one from the Jegs crew. Incidentally, their name is on various theming elements throughout the ride. Pretty cool, I think!
