TTD on Digg's Front Page

For all you TTD Fanboys (adam...cough cough), there is a story right now on Digg's Front Page about TTD being the "World's Most Exciting Roller Coaster". What makes it even more funny is that the stats listed with the pictures of TTD are those of Kingda-Ka's. Also funny is that the majority of the pictures are from the winter before TTD even opened.

If you want, go ahead and digg it up because it is a story about TTD and will get CP some more publicity.

Augh!! I have a headache now from reading some of the posts!
It's good to know that Dragster will be recognized for its inaccurate height and speed. I can’t wait to hear "Did you see that coaster they had on digg.com? I think that’s it right there. It's like 456ft and goes 128mph or something."

Though, in all honesty, it is good that Dragster is getting some positive publicity. Some of you may not agree with me, but IMO, last year was Dragsters way of making a clean slate. Now that it's becoming more reliable, I would love to see its negative reputation diminish. Though I know some of you here will always hold a grudge from 03, 04 and 05.......but hey I can’t stop you.

I'll always be here for her though.:)

P.S.-I know this is a stupiud question, but whats so special about digg.com?

I'm sort of familiar with the whole "digg" concept.

It's basically a large social bookmarking site. If you find something interesting you can "digg" it and those on the digg site can search through the most popular bookmarked pages.

Well, I can't say it will "help" Dragster, but it certainly gets it publicity. It's now the 5th most popular story on Digg.

Oh well then, yay for Digg.....may it prove me wrong.:)

Digg has been known to make sites go over their bandwidth, just by one of their stories being on top.

I stop at Digg at least once daily, but the fact that this story could make it to the front page says something about the process. I buried it.

To be honest that particular page doesn't deserve such a ranking. Maybe recent pictures and correct information would help out a lot.

Awwwww, come on. You expect things on the internet to be correct? Personally I think digg.com is ridiculous.

Many say the same about MySpace and YouTube, but it's a crazy world we live in. :)

Digg is hit and miss for me. I check it frequently because you can find some interesting tech news on there. But some of the stuff is ridiculous. I didn't post this story because I thought it was a great story about TTD (obviously, because the facts were wrong and the pictures were outdated). It was more to just let those who were interested know that it was out there.

It's it really all that surprising to find out that people are shocked to see what TTD does. Majority of the world still doesn't realize that a roller coaster can launch to 120mph and go straight up and down 420 feet. It's undeniably the most insane stats for a roller coaster even four years after it opened.
