TTD Incidents & E-Stops

Oh my goodness you guys, no wonder my husband started calling me a CP geek. Obsess much? ;)

Really though ya'all should be in international think tanks or something with your understanding of physics & the "bidirectional force". ~scratching head~ I used to think I was an intellectual...I guess I'm just a dumb blond afterall.

Why do people have such a hard time with physics? Especially existing and well proofed constructs? I can understand having some trouble with Steven Hawkings stuff, but the basics (and even the intermediate stuff) isn't that hard.

And once you understand the basics and how that works, the next step becomes even easier.

Physics is my favorite subject. Well at least up untill quantum theory. My favorite part was using differential equations to compute RL, RC, RLC, and LC circuits.

Physics just requires a person to think logically through situations and apply equations and what not in order to obtain solutions. In class we use rollercoaster examples all the time, they are perfect examples in many cases.

Yesterday we got to make a roller coaster in natural science. It was only a tube and ball but was still pretty fun. Tried to make a TTD but it wouldn't work :(

May I say, 2007 is going to better than 2006 in regards to downtime. I was right last year and I'll be right again. I'm putting my foot down now. :)

I hope 2007 is better, there is no reason it shouldn't continue to improve until it sees the kind of up time we're used to on Raptor and Magnum. Weather permitting of course.

Weather is TTD's worst enemy anyway. It's the most sensitive coaster in the park when it comes to rain and wind.

And about that issue, come May I will be making another version of the TTD day to day status with my new log. However this time, there wont be any argueing like there was last year.:)

I think you should have an hour by hour Access database that has real-time graphs that show up and down time. :)

lol I WISH I could do that.:)

^^ why do it in access when there are so many better (and free-er solutions)?

Of course, using Access is still better than trying to build a database in Excel.
